GraphCalc allows you to save your settings in a settings file. GraphCalc settings files have a .gcl extension. They are plain text files that store GraphCalc's settings.

You can load and save settings files at any time during execution.

You can also specify whether or not you want GraphCalc to automaticaly save your settings when you exit the program. This can be done via the File->Options->Save Settings On Exit menu item.

All of GraphCalc's settings are saved with just a few exceptions:

  • Whether or not you are in full window mode

  • The fonts used for output. We are currently working on this and should be done in the near future. [UPDATE: GraphCalc 3.0 and later now supports this feature]

GraphCalc keeps track of the last settings file you used and loads that one on startup.
